Our Mission & Beliefs

Our Commitment to Walking in His Word

(2 Timothy 3:16-17) "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
(Hebrews 4:12) "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to divide soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

Baptism

We believe in the water baptism in the authority of Jesus Christ, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38, Acts 19:2-6) Baptism is for people who have repented of their sins and placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. We do not believe that baptism alone saves a person. Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus and the first step in obedience as His disciple.

Communion (The Lord’s Supper)

Before Jesus was crucified, He shared a meal with His disciples. During this meal, He took some bread, broke it into pieces, and told His disciples to eat the bread because it symbolized the breaking of His body for our sins. Then Jesus took the cup of wine, and told the disciples to drink it because it symbolizes the shedding of Jesus’ blood as a sign of a new covenant between God and mankind. We will continue to observe this practice in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice for us.
